Photography Tour with Photographer David Berg

on-foot through his hometown of Frederiksted.

Of all three historic towns in the Virgin Islands, the history of Frederiksted is arguably the most remarkable. Capture stunning images while honing your photography skills as you walk through the town guided by one of the exceptional photographers from St. Croix.  If this is your first time to St Croix or you have been numerous times you will experience a new and fresh perspective of the town of Frederiksted and visit new locations. Visit the historic Fort Frederik, capture ocean scenes, historic sites, and off the beaten track subjects. We will explore the mystery of St. Croix, an island once ruled by 7 different nations.

The tour will offer group technical sessions before each location to maximize your photographic potential!  We will cover technical subjects including: Composition, Colour, Texture, Lighting, and Perspective.

Tours begin at the pier and wind their way through the wide avenues of the town.  From Strand Street to Customs House Street, with a photo stop at Fort Frederik Museum, built in 1763; then on to find unique architectural and botanical subjects hidden within the town of Frederiksted.

Guides will highlight the technical aspects of photography with hands on instructions to the participants.
